The project includes the use of student monitoring of their progress as an important component of assessment FOR learning! This presentation also shows how teachers work together in a collaborative classroom to benefit all students!
ReplyDeleteI especially like that the students are asked to verbalize how they solve their problems. Great job collaborating too!
ReplyDeleteGreat presentation!! I love the one teach - one observe model for collaboration.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! I really liked the assessment tool that you used to assess the progress of each child.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new math links. I'll use thatquiz.com this week! I like the idea of your student checksheet for progress, as well.
ReplyDeleteI have "first hand experience" that this model of Assessment for Learning really does work!
ReplyDeleteGreat example of effective co-teaching using One Teach, One Observe by using the observer to do data collection. I'd love a copy of your data sheet!
