  1. The "What's in the Brain" is an excellent assessment activity to check for prior knowledge. It was interesting to see the results for the various grade levels. I know others will benefit from your assessment project.

  2. Important for learners of all ages! We always want students to link their learning - but we must remember that we have to model this for them at all ages and assist them in activating these links!

  3. Great demonstration of assessing prior knowledge. Of course, I love that you used the SmartBoard in your assessment too! :)

  6. Great job! I love how you used the "brain" graphic. I talk about activating prior knowledge (and we often discuss it), but I never thought of recording it! I will be doing this with my own students!

  9. I like the use of the brain template.
I wonder where you found it. Excellent way to
demonstrate "prior knowledge" and teach making inferences and drawing conclusions.
