The "What's in the Brain" is an excellent assessment activity to check for prior knowledge. It was interesting to see the results for the various grade levels. I know others will benefit from your assessment project.
ReplyDeleteImportant for learners of all ages! We always want students to link their learning - but we must remember that we have to model this for them at all ages and assist them in activating these links!
ReplyDeleteGreat demonstration of assessing prior knowledge. Of course, I love that you used the SmartBoard in your assessment too! :)
ReplyDeleteVery informative.
ReplyDeleteI love the brains! How can I get a copy?
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love how you used the "brain" graphic. I talk about activating prior knowledge (and we often discuss it), but I never thought of recording it! I will be doing this with my own students!
ReplyDeleteI certainly saw that you used your brainpower to present this. Good job!
ReplyDeleteWay to go ladies! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the use of the brain template.
ReplyDeleteI wonder where you found it. Excellent way to
demonstrate "prior knowledge" and teach making inferences and drawing conclusions.
Very nice! You could use this in any grade.
