In each of the fifth grade homerooms, we used a variety of formative assessment lessons in which the students learned about the parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjective, and adverbs). The powerpoint shows pictures and gives descriptions of the activities.

Fifth graders must really like grammar! I liked the way in which the activities engaged the students and met individual needs. Keep up the good work.
